Dr.Sujit Kumar completed his MBBS from NMCH, Gaya, MS in General Surgery from TUTH, Kathmandu, basic and advanced Laparoscopic training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi, India. He did his postdoctoral course in M.Ch (GI Surgery) from COMS, Kathmandu University. He obtained Fellowship (FACS) from American College of Surgeons, USA. He is the member of SELSI, ELSA, IASGO and ACS (American College of Surgeon).
Formed in year 2006, the department of GI Surgery produced first M.Chin GI Surgery in year 2014. The department is currently performing advanced and dedicated GI Surgery, basic and advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and all types of GI & Hepatobiliary surgery
