Dept. of Psychiatry provides services for mentally ill people. Majority of cases seen are depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, epilepsy, drug abuse & alcohol related problems.

Treatment modalities include drug therapy, psycho therapy and electroconvulsive therapy.

It has inpatient facilities, with options of ECT in daycare OT.
