Dr.Shankar Laudari has completed his post graduation in MD (Internal Medicine) from this Institution under Kathmandu University.  He did his post doctoral course in DM (Cardiology) in the year 2015.  He was also trained in Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Kathmandu. He received his fellowship in Cardiology (FESC) from European Society of Cardiology in the year 2017.  He is the Principal investigator in the ongoing INVICTUS multi centre trail in rheumatic heart disease.  He was awarded the Young Investigator Award in the year 2017 by the Mrigendra Memorial Trust, Kathmandu for his international best publication in RHD.  He is the Head of the Department of Cardiology.
