Departments of Obstetrics & Gynaecology

“You can buy a house but not a home; you can buy food but not the appetite; you can buy medicine but not the cure”  because to cure a disease, the right type of medicines must be prescribed by a competent doctor.

The competent doctor can only be produced, if they pass through a well planned medical education.

The doctors are the backbone of quality health care which is more important in Obstetrics since Maternal Mortality in Nepal is one of the highest in the world. We have two clear objectives:

Train the students/interns:
Expose them to the various theoretical and practical aspects of learning and rotate them in the Government and Cancer hospitals and check the technical competence achieved. Make them leaders in the field of OB/GYN.

Serve the community:
Running the general and specialized clinics, free health camps, cooperating with the NGO’s in performing various operations at no-cost basis for the patients.
