Dr. Safal Dhungel obtained his BDS from Universal College Of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa affilated to Tribhuwan University and his MS in Oral and maxillofacial surgery from BSMMU Dhaka. He has been working in the institution from April 2017. He is affilated to BMDC, NMC, NSOMS, IAOO.

Department of Oral And Maxillofacial surgery was established in Dental program in 2010 and has been continuously providing care for maxillofacial trauma patients . The department operates highest number of trauma patients in Nepal and also provides treatment of Benign and Malignant Lesions of oral cavity , Reconstruction of jaw with bone grafts , TMJ surgeries , Facial plastic surgery and minor oral surgeries related to tooth and oral cavity . Recently the department has started orthognathic surgery and Dental Implant surgery .
